La ViTrain produce una linea inglese in OO ( o HO?) ViTrains Models V2024 Ref: SPEC10008 ViTrains, Class 37/4 Co-Co Diesel Electric Type 3 Locomotive, No 37430 ' Cwmbran ' in Transrail branded triple grey livery. ViTrains, a brand new name to the British Railway modelling scene. The Class 37/4 is a full specification model, with Die-cast heavy chassis, 5-pole motor with twin fly wheel, two axle drive per bogie, NEM couplings, DCC ready, LED constant brightness directional lighting, sprung buffers, flush glazing, brass radiator fan grille. The class 37 is one of the most successful of all the original BTC locomotive orders. Built by English Electric & Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns with 309 being constructed over a 5 year period from 1960. The Class 37/4 was a sub class created when 31 locomotives were refurbished during 1985/6 at BREL Crewe works. These locomotives were fitted with ETC train heating allowing them to work passenger trains. In ogni caso i modelli sono in scala 00. Quello vuole il mercato locale, quello gli danno. Anni fa la Heljan provò a fare un po' di H0 inglese, ma con scarsissimi risultati commerciali. E quindi si è riconvertita alla 00 per il mercato inglese. |

Sì, ma esiste un movimento fermodellistico inglese che staspngendo p l' HO. Comunque la mia osservazione era più sul fatto che il modello, recente, è già posto in offerta, ( in sostanza svendita) sul mercato UK. :o |

Mbè, significa che probabilmente il modello non tira bene in GB e quindi potrebbe essere un problema per una Ditta Italiana |

E' usuale in GB mettere i modelli in offerta anche dopo pochi mesi dall'uscita (indipendentemente che questi abbiano avuto successo sul mercato o meno). Personalmente posseggo un modello della 37 ViTrains in versione EWS, e posso assicurare che è un ottimo modello, anche rapportato all'omologo Bachmann. Unico dubbio la colorazione che mi sembra più chiara del normale. Saluti Gianni |
